Rubber stamping means transferring images from a stamp onto paper, fabric or any other material you can think of.
When you do rubber stamping you select your stamp & your chosen medium for transfer - this is usually ink...which comes in a variety of colours.
You apply your ink to the image & then press down onto your paper (or other material that you are transferring to).
The great thing about rubber stamping is that you get a uniform image each time, and that makes it easy for you to create repeating designs.
Rubber stamps come in all different sorts of images to suit a variety of tastes & styles.
Traditionally rubber stamping has been used in card making & it has branched out into scrapbooking & altered art.
Once you are introduced to the world of rubber stamping you will find that there is a seemingly endless number of techniques that you can use with your rubber stamps.
If you would like to find out more, why not join me for a free introduction evening where you will be able to try your hand at stamping.
