Fox & Friends - Scrapbooking

We had Stamp Club on Wednesday night, and this month we created a layout.

The sample was based on this sketch:

I used the super cute Fox & Friends stamp set from the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue...along with the Big Shot Top Note die to create the journaling spot...not to mention the Title made with the Timeless Type sizzlet dies.

My Stamp Clubs are open to anyone in New Zealand - if you're out of town you'll receive a project kit along with instructions to complete the project for the month.

Stamp Club

We had a fabulous night at Stamp Club last night, we made some adorable cards...check these out:

 

The owl was made using the Scallop Circle Punch, Round Tab Punch & Scallop Square Punch and we used the Thank You Kindly stamp set - pretty cute aye!

For the Birthday Card we used the the Bitty Birthday stamp set, coloured our images with blender pens, like in this video here.

Then we used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and Sweet Treat Cups from the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini catalogue. We filled the cups with some sprinkles - there are so many cool things you can do with these cups...and they're only $7.75 for a pack of 12.

I {Heart} My Stamp Club

I love my Stamp Club.

I like to treat my Stamp Club members by giving them great projects.

I don't think I shared with you the project we made for January...we got in early for Valentine's Day & now I'm sitting ahead of the ball game with cards for Wayne and both of the kids - heaven help us if they miss out on a day to celebrate love!

Raven says to me the other day "Mum, that's all you ever say...I love you Ravey." Poor child! LOL!

So we made these gorgeous boxes filled with mini cards and decorated with A Happy Heart, which was one of the very first stamp sets I bought when I became a demonstrator.

As part of my stamp club a project is included each month to help keep you motivated, inspired & creating...so you're essentially getting a free class each month as well.

More Stamp Club - Halloween Project

Not that many people in New Zealand celebrate Halloween, and I don't profess to have any knowledge on the history of the occasion - but I do know that it's a great opportunity for creating & sharing.

I've been thinking about Halloween treats for Taiga's class mates - I really do like giving out treats & we may or may not get a knock at the door this year (we didn't last year) & one way to avoid disappointment is to make sure that I get to give out treats to Taigy's friends.

I've been playing with some ideas & this is another project that we did at Stamp Club - it's a bit too labour intensive for me to create (and fill) for the whole class, so I'll be coming up with something  a little simpler - but I think this box is super cute.

I've scaled the box to fit on a piece of A5 card, you can download a WORD version here, (it's A4 with 2 on a page), I'm working on a PDF - but its driving me nuts at the mo.

Don't you LOVE the effect of the So Swirly Jumbo Wheel with the Whisper White Craft ink.I've also used the "Happy Halloween" from Occasional Greetings.

Stamp Club Projects

I thought I'd share with you one of the cute projects we made at September's Stamp Club.

 

Our hostess wanted some ideas for invitations & she brought along her Perfect Princess Stamp Set (115936), so we whipped up this cute invite in a slidey holder.

The DSP comes from the Level 1 Hostess Gift - Patterns Pack II Designer Series Paper & we've used some of the gorgeous ribbon from the September Ribbon bundle.

We combined So Saffron with Regal Rose for this adorable invite.

We embossed the crown & then coloured it by using sponge daubers & Stampin' Pastels.

We stamped the "You're Invited" & blank party details stamps from the "Please Come" Stamp Set (116400).

Then we prettied up the insert with a tag topper, used the crop-a-dile to set a jumbo eyelet & threaded through some of the gorgeous regal rose 5/8" grosgrain & secured with with hemp twine.

Around the front of the cover we scalloped a belly band & tied some So Saffron 5/8" grosgrain, then added our little tag.

Pretty cute aye!

August Stamp Club

We made some gorgeous cards at Stamp Club this month (on Monday night).

I like to let my hostesses choose what projects we make on their night of Hosting.

This month, with Father's Day just around the corner & Christmas quickly sneaking up on us, our hostess decided to choose a Father's Day Card & a Christmas Card.

So this is what we made:

For the Christmas Card, I chose to copy the Winter Post Card from page 33. My hostess has all the goodies for embossing so we heat embossed the postmark stamp for a wee refresher on how to use that technique.

I LOVE that my stamp clubs allow the hostess to choose her projects because it means that I'm teaching people to use what they've got - I get a huge sense of satisfaction from that - just another reason why I LOVE being a demonstrator :o)

My tea bag is a little larger than the one in the catalogue, but "work with what you've got" is one of my many mantras ;o)

I really do love this stamp set - makes me kind of wish our Christmas was in winter - but not really because I don't like the cold LOL

Well , it was windy & chilly enough today  to make the tea not seem completely preposterous.

A hot chocolate sachet would work just as well.
