October traditionally starts the busiest card-making time of the year & in recognition of this Paper Crafts Magazine established World Card Making Day.
The first WCMD was held on October 7th 2006 & was aimed at the Paper Crafts Magazine audience only, however it received an overwhelmingly positive response & gained world wide popularity and the holiday (National Card Making Day) became known as World Card Making Day from then on.
World Card Making Day is celebrated on the first Saturday in October & is a day for all card makers to unite & celebrate the creativity that is at the heart of card making.
To celebrate World Card Making Day I am hosting a Christmas Card Buffet.
I have been busy preparing for the day & creating samples, you get to pick & choose which cards you want to make.
