I saw on the NZSU site there's a challenge to make a triangle box, so I decided to have a go.
This is based on the boxes we made at Stamp Club earlier this month & I thought I'd share with you just how easy they are to make:
This is a long version of the Triangle Box & here's how I have made it:
Regal Rose Card: 3"x9"
Take your card & score along the 9" side at 4 1/2".
Mark your 3" ends at 1 1/2" (half way- just a dot with a pen will to)
Score from your dot down to your centre line (4 1/2" line), on both sides forming a triangle.
Repeat for the other end.
Fold along your score lines.
Punch holes through each of the 4 layers at the top of the box & thread your ribbon though.
Simple, yes?!
To pretty it up I have grabbed some scraps of Sweet Always DSP & my handy dandy Scallop Edge Punch.
I've also taken my Spring Song set & made a shrinky embellishment - too cute!
We make projects like these (and many others) in our Stamp Club & I've got spaces available for a club starting in January, so if you're interested in joining email me today!
very cool - nice to see a different shape
