Organising Your A4 Card Stock
Organising your A4 Card Stock.
I have a little bit of all of the colour families - my favourite family at the mo is the In Color family - but I need room for all of the families.
What I like to do is allocate a magazine file for two colour families:
Bold Brights & Earth Elements
In Colour & Neutrals
Rich Regals & Soft Subtles
I keep my card in its wrapper & then I take a clear L Folder and use it to store my off cuts, this keeps them nice & handy.
I don't keep bits that are smaller than 1 1/2" wide because they can easily overwhelm me & I find that I actually use pieces that are larger rather than hording small bits (I learned this lesson when we moved & I got ruthless with my bitty bits :o).

Stampin Up! Offers the Perfect Career
Have you heard the story about the perfect career?
It goes something like this………………..
“Firstly, I will only be working a couple of days a week & when I do, it’ll only be for a few hours at a time.”
“Next, my family comes first, so I’ll need time away for Christmas, Easter or school holidays – I don’t expect to have to ask for it or apply for leave either. Also, if a family emergency arises my work will go on the back burner until things settle down.”
“As a rep for your company I will do my best to sell our products, but I do expect the company to provide incentives & rewards for my customers when they purchase. Also, I would like the incentives to be regularly updated to keep up the excitement & motivation.”
“With regards to my wages, I would like a percentage of everything I sell. Let’s say 20%, plus bonuses if I meet expectations. I would also like a variety of awards, like gifts & prizes just for doing my job.”
“One last thing, if I do decide to become a manager with the company, I will expect additional bonuses paid to me on my sales & all the sales of my team.”
The personnel manager was in fits of laughter by this time, but he managed to say, “Lady I don’t know what planet you’re from, but there’s no such job in the world like the one you’ve just described!”
She calmly replied,” I beg to differ. My friend has just joined a party plan company and that’s exactly the kind of job she has”
It goes something like this………………..

Three Little Words
Today's card is for my Nana.
She lives up north & I don't visit her as often as I should, but I think about her alot.
So, this card is heading north for her.
Back in August, some of the managers from my team went away on the Incentive Trip to Noosa & while they were away our team had some challenges going.
I managed to win one of the challenges & the lovely Karen, sent out a little gift pack with this gorgeous paper in it, along with ribbon & embellishments - LUCKY Me!!
The paper is Parisian Breeze & it's available in the Spring Mini Catalogue which is around until the end of November.
I've used it here with the Three Little Words stamp set, which is one of my favourites because it has three little words like:

Keeping Track of your Tools
Some times the simplest concepts are the most effective.
I find it easy to lose track of my scissors - a handy tip I pick up from my team mates is to simply tie a piece of ribbon on to the handle.

Pink Flamingo meets Many Merry Messages
I was sorting through my paper scraps & came across a cute piece of red DSP from Pink Flamingo, so I thought I'd have a go at making a Christmas Card with it.
It's pretty plain - but it just goes to show how versatile the designer series papers are.
I've used Stampin' Up!'s Old Olive card stock as my card base, along with Whisper White & a touch of Chocolate Chip.
I'm really liking the Many Merry Messages stamp set - I find it to be a great all-rounder for my Christmas Cards; I've masked the Merry Christmas to get it onto two lines..then finished off with some taffeta ribbon & Earth Elements brads in Old Olive to match.
