Fabulous Workshop

Well, I had a fabulous workshop on Thursday night with a lovely bunch of ladies.

We had a great time creating together.

Because Stampin' Up! is celebrating National Scrapbooking Month I decided we should create a 6x6 page so we pulled out the gorgeous Playful Petals stamp set & transformed a piece of Whisper White cardstock into designer paper :o)

We added the "Life" & "live like you mean it" from the Live Like You Mean It - Level 1 Hostess set
 

We also made a cute card using the Three Little Words stamp set along with some of the delicious Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper (DSP)

 
The card opens to say three little words, either:

I love you
I miss you
so very sorry
you, you, you
thanks so much
thinking of you

Such a great set for just $28.95

We created the simple version in the workshop - but you can always add a little bit of this & a little bit of that to make your creations dazzle - like this version:

With just a touch of ribbon, some flower fusion & a rhinestone brad the card above has gone from sweet to stunning!

So, that's a little taste of what you can expect at a workshop.

Great card there, Kelly. I've been enjoying watching the things you've been working on.... so can't wait to get my hands on some of those Trendy trees!
Hey, I do have a question, I've been trying to work out how to put the catalogue images for the stamp sets in my posts on my newly set up SU blog.... would you mind telling me? I can't quite get how to get them off the online catalogue to just pop the set I want in a post. Thanks heaps:) And glad to see your workshops are going so well.
