Back from Convention.
What can I say?? Convention was SENSATIONAL!!
I had an absolute ball, the speakers were so motivational – the samples were inspiring, the demonstrations were AMAZING!!
My roommates were the COOLEST!!!
I can’t wait to share all I have learned with you.
There is so much to share, but the first thing I would like to say is a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Jacque Pedersen, my up line, who was named the NZ Demonstrator of the Year!!
left to right: Shelli Gardner (Co-Founder of Stampin' Up!), Aaron (from AUS HQ, Jacque (1st Place), Sharlene (2nd), Patrice (3rd), Emma (from NZ HQ)
Congratulations Jacque!!! I am absolutely thrilled & delighted for you.
More congratulations go out to Patrice Halliday-Larsen, for her amazing achievements.
Patrice took out quite a few awards herself & was named in the top 3 NZ demonstrators – YAY!!!
Rachael excelled in sales & recruiting & was in the NZ top 10 demos.
And Karen & Leanne were also recognized for their fantastic efforts in building their businesses.
How awesome to be on such a hugely successful team!!!
I am so proud of you girls!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Well, our days were filled with information, excitement, friendship & frivolity :o)
One of the highlights of convention was swapping creations with other demonstrators from around Australia & New Zealand – it is so cool to not only see other people’s work but to be able to take a piece of it home with you to inspire you with techniques, colour combinations, products & ideas.
This gorgeous bookmark was created by Carol Dunstan, an Australian demonstrator.
She has used the Blooming with Beauty set, as well as Tart & Tangy.
Don't you just love the scallop punch & the taffeta ribbon.
I think her embossing, colouring & cutting looks amazing??
The next wonderful swap is from our very own top 3 NZ Demonstrator of the Year Patrice :o)
What you see before your eyes is the cover of a gorgeous wee box that contains a Whittakers chocolate - YUM!
Patrice has used the Cheers to You set, her Stampin' Up! markers which are designed to co-ordinate perfectly with the Stampin' Up! colour families.
And do you see the gloss & glitter - how GORGEOUS!!!! Patrice has used Crystal Effects and the Dazzling Diamonds glitter to give some shimmer & shine.
Finally (for today), this birthday card was created by another Australian demonstrator - Angelique Kelly.
I fell in love with this card the moment I set eyes on it.
I think it might be the colours that drew me - or the flourishy frame that looks a bit like a cloud, perhaps the squiggly balloon strings?? I don't know - maybe it's the way that Angelique has brought all these elements together - I love it!!
I don’t want to bombard you, so over the coming weeks I’ll share more with you.
While I was away a fabulous new Stampin' Up! promotion was launched, actually 2 promotions, to celebrate (US) National Scrapbooking Month:
Buy 3 packs of Designer Series Paper & get your 4th set for FREE
- Join Stampin’ Up! for $175 with the Scrapbooking Starter Kit
How cool is that!?? You can join Stampin’ Up! receive all the demonstrator benefits (i.e. discounts on all your purchases!!) for just $175 – and SHIPPING IS FREE!!
If you’d like to know more you can read the FAQs about being a demonstrator or give me a call & I’ll answer any questions you have.
I love being a “demo”, I’ve made some awesome new friends, I’ve made some money, I get my stuff for less (I don’t like paying retail prices!!) and the kit is such great value PLUS you can customize it to what you like.
So, if you’d like a little extra cash in your hand, or just want to spend less on products you love now is a great time to join Stampin’ Up! because this promo ends MAY 31st.
Righteo, I can’t be sitting on the PC all day – I’m inspired to create!!!
Wishing you a fabulous day!

The bookmark is stunning. How has she coloured the flower??
I have that set but have never thought of putting it onto black.

Hi Sally,
The flower is stamped on white card stock, then coloured & cut out - looks awesome doesn't it!

Thanks, for this beautiful post and it's fascinating questions!
Something about a view opens up a world of possibility. I'm sure he'll enjoy it though and hope you raise LOADSAMONEY for your charity.
I am sure that he will absolutely love it. My son has done it a couple of times.
